When Megan Tassano said “Yes” to John Dundon, she knew she didn’t want to stress about planning the wedding. So she hired Michaela Rodgers of Plush to be their wedding coordinator. “On the actual day of the wedding, I was able to sit up in my room relaxed and happy and see [that] everything was taken care of,” Megan recalls. “[Michaela] took all the things that would have caused me stress off my plate. I was able to not worry.”

Megan, an esthetician, and John, owner of Sierra Nevada Cheese Company, wed at the Resort at Squaw Creek in Lake Tahoe after more than five years of dating. The ceremony took place on the spa deck, the reception in the pavilion. Their colors—green, brown and ivory—matched the environment perfectly. “We wanted everything to go along with the natural setting,” says Megan, “because it’s so gorgeous up there.”

Family played a big role in the couple’s nuptials. Megan’s brother married the couple after getting ordained online, John’s daughter from a previous marriage served as a bridesmaid, and Megan’s aunt made the wedding favors. “We kept it family-focused, small and intimate,” says the bride.
