New Service Provides Fruit-Infused Waters For Weddings

Hey, brides, I just heard about a cool new nonalcoholic beverage service called Bella Bevande. Owner Lisa McCapes sets up crystal apothecary jars filled with lemonade, iced tea and water infused with fresh fruits (lemons, oranges, strawberries, cantaloupe, pomegranates or grapes). It looks absolutely gorgeous—the perfect option for a nonalcoholic wedding. But it’s great even if you're serving booze. After all, not everybody drinks, and even drinkers like to limit their alcohol consumption. McCapes got the idea while pouring wine at weddings at the Old Sugar Mill in Clarksburg. “Guests were always asking for water,” she says. “Sometimes brides forget to have it.” McCapes sets up, services, replenishes and takes down the jars. She charges a flat fee that ranges from $300 to $500 depending on the size of the wedding and number of jars. For more information, contact McCapes at (916) 616-0276 or bellabevande@yahoo.com.
