We received some hair products the other day from a salon owner. Dawn Bacchi, who has 25 years in the beauty industry, took one look at our staff and was able to tell which ones of us needed more moisture in our hair, who needed more volume, etc. She left some great samples (pictured), but two things struck me most about her and her salon. 1) She is based in Auburn. This is great for our Placer County brides who live a little farther up 80 than Roseville and want a good salon/stylist in their area rather than always having to travel. Let’s face it, the number of hair cuts/stylings/colorings seems to increase during the period between engagement and wedding. 2) She offers a private “exclusive” hair studio, perfect for people who for whatever reason want to keep their experience quiet.

Good to know: She’s got the special event thing down. She’s worked backstage during New York Fashion Week, among other events. So weddings? In the bag!
