This delicously tempting candy bar photo was sent to me by Kendra Pfeiffer of Pfeiffer Event Planning (photo from Ford Family Photography) from an amazing wedding took place at Arden Hills. Thanks to Kendra for sharing inspiration -- we're happy to pass it on to you.

Sorry I've been away for so long, dear readers. The new issue of Our Wedding is about to go off to the printer any day now and so we've been swamped around here. Plenty of exciting things are happening that I will get up on the blog, but for now, I want to share an image that may not make it in print from our fashion shoot at Grand Island Mansion. This is Amber Sims, a model from Cast Images, shot by our amazing fashion photogs Andrew Weeks Photography. (Many thanks to Andrew and his assistants Jenny and Mike. We all put in 12 hour days to make it happen!) Can't wait for you all to see the result of the shoot in print!

This ribbon and crystal necklace is super stylish and would make a thoughtful gift for bridesmaids, or a nice holiday gift for yourself! Affordable at $24, too. Find it online here at Need Supply. They have many other clothing items and accessories as well, all reasonably priced (under $100).

Arden Hills is hosting a cool event on Thursday, Nov. 5 from 6 - 9:30 pm called "Beyond Platinum." Arden Hills is going to decorate a few different rooms in different wedding themes, going all out on the details. The idea is to provide a level of inspiration to vendors and brides in Sacramento that currently can't be found in other bridal events. It's quite an ambitious undertaking. To bask in the creativity, purchase tickets at Arden Hills for $25. Cocktail attire required. Must be 21 years old to attend.
