New (Local) Accessories Site: Jesse Ciani New (Local) Accessories Site: Jesse Ciani

I just learned of a new site/local resource I thought I'd pass along: Jesse Ciani, a site for wedding day accessories such as ring bearer pillows, photo albums, crystal napkin rings, bejeweled belts and sashes for brides, and a few other items. The photo quality on the website isn't great, so it's hard to tell about things like fabric quality and texture; whether these items are handmade or imported; that said, I think my favorite section is the belts and sashes -- many of which could also double as hair accessories. She's local, so I'm sure you can request custom items, as well. (Belt pictured: is called "Chic" and sells for $228.)

The Fairest [Beauty Deals] The Fairest [Beauty Deals]

Heard of a website called The Fairest? If not, you can learn about it now. It's one of those new-fangled membership sites where you enter your e-mail address to become a "member" and get access to weekly deals. Deals that are hot, here, then gone. Right now, for instance, they have Skin Nutrition products at 50 percent off. Wowza. OK, I've never tried Skin Nutrition, so I can't vouch for the brand, but anything half off is still a good deal. Hurry! The sale ends in one day. Pictured at left: Skin Nutrition lip plumper for a mere $25.

Curly Hair? Get This. Curly Hair? Get This.

Do you have curly hair? Do you stress about your curls, frizz, curl separation and hair softness? If so, then I've discovered a local set of products you should know about. Curls makes custom, organic hair care systems for naturally kinky, curly or wavy hair. Owner Mahisha Dellinger's business is in Elk Grove, but you can order products online or in store. Each system has five steps: cleanse, condition, moisturize, style and finish, with products available for each step. Individual products range from $12 to $25.

Smell Omniscent Smell Omniscent

No, that's not a spelling error, it's a cleverly devised use of poetic license. Smell omniscient? Awesome. But really, this is a perfume called OMNISCENT, and cannot make you all-knowing, but can, however, make you all attractive. I can't vouch for the smell, but the site I found it on says it has bits of real panther in it, and anyone wearing it should "prepare to be utterly irresistable." Imagine throngs of people storming you -- just like those Axe commercials! It also has pink pepper in it. Isn't it lovely? By Yosh Han. For sale at Candystore Collective for $130.
