Dich takes a wooden hanger and replaces the lower bar with a length of steel wire spelling out the bride’s new name—Mrs. Smith, for instance. She can also make a matching hanger for Mr. Smith. The custom hangers cost $50 to $60 apiece, depending on the number of letters in the last name.
