New Wedgewood Venues in Sacramento

One of the biggest decisions you will make about your wedding, besides who to marry of course, is where to hold the reception. If you’re looking for a full-service option, you’ll be happy to learn that Wedgewood Wedding & Banquet Center, 30-year veterans of the industry, recently added two new area venues to their roster: David Girard Vineyards and The Sterling Hotel.

The two venues join the Sequoia Mansion in Placerville as area offerings that feature Wedgewood’s wide variety of customizable packages; add or remove any service depending on your needs and budget. Wedgewood manages all the vendors, sans the creative stuff, which is left for you, and takes care of invoicing/payments and logistics.

“Since we do thousands of weddings a year, we are able to work with the highest quality vendors at significantly reduced prices,” says Julia Henning, director of marketing at Wedgewood Wedding & Banquet Centers.

Each venue has a dedicated staff to walk couples through the Wedgewood Wedding Guide, a step-by-step guide to the planning process. They are also open daily to answer questions that come up at any time.

“The number one reason brides and grooms choose a Wedgewood venue is because they think the location is beautiful. David Girard and The Sterling Hotel are no exceptions,” says Henning. David Girard Vineyards, an active winery near Placerville, provides a picturesque setting in the Sierra Nevada Foothills. By contrast, The Sterling Hotel, located in Downtown Sacramento, was built 1894 as a home for the affluent Hale family and offers charming Victorian architecture and immaculate, manicured grounds.

Wedgewood has just made one decision a little easier! Now for the dress . . .
