With a classic and sophisticated event, these two wanted “everything about our wedding to be us.”

STOP THE CAR!—Chris planned to pop the question over dinner, but he and Christina ended up seated next to a couple who argued throughout their meal. “Kinda took the romance out,” says Christina. Driving home, Chris slipped the ring out of the box into his hand. “I always like to reach over and hold onto his hand—and felt the ring,” says Christina. “I freaked out and told him to stop the car, which he did, in the middle of the street!”
SPECIAL OFFICIANT—Christina’s nana, who had been married by Pastor Phil Jones, passed away five years ago. Jones been a huge part of Christina’s family since she was a child, so it was an easy choice to invite him to do the ceremony. “It was my way of honoring (my nana).”
VINTAGE CHARM MEETS SOPHISTICATED—Black and white, gold, mini-donuts, a rented 1954 Porsche (which Chris drove very slowly because “God forbid my hair get messed up!” says Christina) . . . their wedding was a mix of fun and classy.
MEMORABLE MOMENTS—After Christina’s dad beat cancer a couple of years ago, his presence felt extra special on the wedding day—he walked Christina down the aisle.
