From Tinder to a little chapel in Rocklin, this couple’s love has grown.
SWIPE RIGHT!—Clarissa and Paul had so much fun on their first date that they decided to keep it going. Pretty soon, it was exclusive. No one-night stand here!
KEEPING WITH TRADITION—They stayed apart before the wedding, and didn’t lay eyes on each other until the moment Paul first saw Clarissa entering the chapel. They wrote their own vows, and rang the bell before exiting the chapel to announce their union.
SO MUCH FUN!—With ping pong, corn hole, croquet and a photo booth, Paul and Clarissa’s wedding helped generate new friendships. “Many friends who didn’t know each other before the wedding became friends and have hung out together after the wedding,” says Clarissa.
ADVICE TO SHARE—“The wedding planner paid for herself,” says Clarissa, noting that the dollars their planner saved them on vendors more than made up for her fee. “If you add in the tremendous benefit of stress relief . . . I would’ve paid twice over for that alone.”
